Seeks Staff for New Gender Based Violence (GBV) Prevention Project
The Bantwana Initiative of World Education seeks candidates for multiple positions for an anticipated Gender Based Violence (GBV), prevention and response program. The project is expected to commence in October 2016. Bantwana (www.bantwana.org) is an initiative of World Education, Inc. (www.worlded.org).
Position: Program Manager - 1 position based in Arusha
Position Overview: Provide technical leadership and oversee project, providing essential support to the Country Director in managing and supervising the entire program implementation, including project staff and local partners. Supervise and coordinate individual, school, and community-based interventions and oversee capacity building of local program partners. Ensure harmonization of activities across the project.
Support M&E staff to assess and utilize program data to optimize programming and ensure the project is on track to achieve its objectives.
Overall responsiblity for report wriiting and information sharing with Country Director and WEI/Bantwana regional program staff.
Qualifications: 7+ years of experience designing, planning, implementing, managing and evaluating gender, HIV prevention, and. education programming; experience with PEPFAR programs highly desirable; familiarity with national policies and guidelines for gender and education; fluent in English and Kiswahili; Master's Degree or higher.
