World Education's Bantwana Initiative
Seeks Staff for New Gender Based Violence (GBV) Prevention Project
The Bantwana Initiative of World Education seeks candidates for multiple positions for an anticipated Gender Based Violence (GBV), prevention and response program. The project is expected to commence in October 2016. Bantwana (www.bantwana.org) is an initiative of World Education, Inc. (www.worlded.org).

Position: Out-of-School Study, Support, and Empowerment Specialist - 1 position based Arusha

Position Overview:

Lead in development, management, and evaluation of a model for Out-of- School Study Groups (OSSG) for adolescent girls who have dropped out of secondary school, with a specific focus on pregnant girls and teenage mothers. Facilitate and oversee' implementation of the OSSG model across multiple projects, coordinating closely with district- based Program Coordinators local implementing partners and engaging with local stakeholders to ensure program success.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience designing, planning, and implementing HIV prevention arid education programs for women and girls; experience with PEPFAR programs highly desirable; familiarity with national policies and guidelines for gender and education; fluent in English and Kiswahili; Bachelor's Degree or higher.
